Cross-country ski trails go past the apartments and the small Nordseter downhill resort is ~5 mins walk away. Cosy bar/cafe in hotel area. Beds a little basic with thin mattresses. Schöner Ort, aber Achtung…. Bettwäsche wird extra berechnet, Hunde ebenfalls, und die Endreinigung ist pedantisch - sonst kostet die Nachreinigung auch noch was! Besser weiterfahren und woanders übernachten! B-building is quite old and dirty: all the chairs are in stains, stove is from 19th century. And by the way linens are not included into the price - 100kr per set. And there is a to do list for checkout, which includes cleaning the toilet, vacuuming etc. Amazing place! Een boxspring met een toplaag maar zonder matras. Hadden allebei last van ons rug. Ook de badkamer heeft een renovatie nodig. Vloer loopt scheef en water loopt volledig onder de douchewand door. Apartment was lovely with new kitchen, fireplace, sauna and big Windows with a nice view! Great place to stay for xc skiing, right in the middle of the local track network. Each apartment has a kitchenette. The shop and the restaurant open only during the winter and summer seasons. The Fjellstue staff are really friendly and helpful. Huisje ruim en schoon I loved this place! The view is amazing and it really is a big apartment. The 2 person bedroom is pretty small, but the bedroom upstairs is huge! There is place for 6 people in the big bedroom and we we're staying there with a family of 4. I was on a multi-day ski excursion in 2015 when I took a wrong turn on a long and cold day. Exhausted, I only realized I was lost when it was too dark to see. I returned to the last town I passed, which was Nordseter. The people at Nordseter Apartments were amazingly kind and helpful to me. While they had no vacancy, they offered me a place to get warm and dry and invited me to dinner. The dinner was so incredible! When I was warm and fed, they helped me call a taxi and sort out my situation. While I never officially stayed there, I can say that their kindness and hospitality turned my situation from a disaster to one of my fondest memories. Thank you!!
