Supposed to be a top camp, it was incredibile to see so high prices for a bad value in terms of service. The camper area is outside the camp, not close to toilets. The supposed restaurant is really Basic and very expensive. The positive aspects could be the private beach and the area to change water for camper. Clean place, very big and lots of permanent spaces. A little expensive personally with only one small tent, but the facilities were clean. Plenty of showers and a nice kitchen as well. 1 night stay with a camper van. The campsite is very big, so most of the camping pitches are far from the facility center. All the facilities, kitchen, dining space, shower and toilet, are very basic and seem not very clean - it can be clean for someone, but I do not agree with it. The best part was not to use coins for shower. My wife and I were here in late September 2023. We made a reservation online, received a confirmation email, and just for good measure, sent an additional email to the campground account. This campground is gated, and you need to get a keycard from reception to enter. We arrived later in the evening, after dark. The sign on the window said that if you arrive after staffed hours, you will have an envelope in the mailbox with your name on it. We had no envelope. Another couple was arriving just as we were, and they had an envelope with a keycard to enter. We tried calling the numbers on the reception window with no answer. Finally, one of the other campers noticed something was wrong and approached us. We explained the problem and showed him our email confirming our reservation. He is a long-term camper at this site and had the personal number for one of the staff members. He called them for us and let us talk. The staff member very coldly stated they forgot to check us in and to just find one of the other campers to let us in. We are very grateful that this individual was willing to let us in as otherwise we would have to go waking others up. I would say the bathrooms are the only highlight, as they were clean. At our site, the wifi connection was awful and kept dropping. Expensive. Poor staff service. Would not recommend. Pros: great location, good internet, good shower, and lots of kitchen appliances. Cons: small beds, no AC or fans of any kind, so it was extremely hot during my stay in June. If I had not packed a handheld fan, I would have struggled to sleep. It's a nice place. I'm just visiting a friend, once in a while, that have his caravan in there, and I like the place very much. It have playgrounds for the kids, they have a beach and in the summer they also have a big tent where you can buy food and beers. Brumunddal city is just a few kilometers away with wood hotel, a small shopping center, stores, gyms, football fields, beaches and so on. In the camping it could have been nice with a few more toilets around. The cabins are with high-tech features (door locks and services via app).
