There is rich history as well, because in the back of the restaurant, there are round koritas that are 2m. deep and were used to wash and color jambolija. The technique to wash the jambolijas is called valanje, therefore the namr of the restaurant is Na Valajci, or Where The Valanje Happens. There is quite a trip until you reach the restaurant, but it is definitely worth it. When we arrived there, there was only one small table free, everything else was reserved. The staff quickly reorganized the table and the chairs to make room for more than two people and apologized. Then, as we were ordering one menu item at a time, the waiters were very quick at handing out what we ordered. We ordered a salad - it was on our table in two minutes. We ordered pitulici and zelnik - they were on our table in three minutes. There is a section in the menu, where it says that some special meat meals take around 30-40 mins. to be fully prepared, but the waiters delivered a whole plate of mouth-watering food in under 10 minutes. Then, as we were finishing with the main course, taking a break to order some tasty food for home, we decided to order dessert as well. The dessert was brought to us in two minutes and it was on the house, as a way to apologize again for the lack of free tables. All in all, the service was excellent, the salads were amazing, the meat was tender and well-done, and the ravanija as our dessert was heavenly. You have to try the Valačka salata when you go there. Would go here again, definitely recommending it to everyone! 10/10. Great restaurant, situated before the city of Kicevo. It has a lovely view, it is up on a hill next to a river. The food is great, the offer good dishes from pork, to lamb and ribs. Unfortunately they don't offer minced meat, so no hamburgers. I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant!
