I'm beginner. the trainer took his and trained well before & during the scuba diving. He has lot of patience. Any once again. I did some open here, my partner did her certification. Friendly, efficient, professional. The boat ride to the site was a lovely ride past Trogir one of the days as well. It was the second when I went with them. The first I did my OW Padi with them a couple yrs ago and this I took my first-time diver wife. They were patient and showed all the necessary moves to feel under water! If you you are on a trip I recommend to book a with them and explore the reefs and see some underworld animals! Did the two pack with this center. We have the Open Diver course - with 5 each. Super nice people, helped us set up the equipment properly and guaranteed we were safe. Also they let us off the boat in a more shallow area which made us more at ease and let us do all the necessary safety checks. Best so far! Ivo is a guy, friendly, helpful and a good diver. Wife and I have about 300 logged between us so we know what we are doing. As with all PADI centres Ivo takes out mixed ability groups but he finds sites and organises the so that everyone is happy. Aegean is as much about underwater scenery as fish life and Ivo knows the best spots. Highly recommended. I really enjoy the here, the instructor is helpful and kind, which makes the very pleasant and clam. The visibility was not due to storm but we still have a time. Recommend to people who want to try out scuba diving! WOW! My girlfriend & I LOVED our with Ivan. The whole staff at Venus were incredible. It was our first and now we can't wait to do our full PADI. As the other reviews states, they are a friendly staff and they have everything you need for a experience. I had asked them to help me reconfigure my daughter's regulator, not only did they assist, they helped tightened valves that have come loose. I am eternally grateful to them for that! I dropped my computer and it stopped displaying, they loaned me a computer and tried to help me with my own too. It was an eventful day for my daughters and me! When coordinating with them, I strongly recommend communicating in details your experience. Unfortunately, the initial was not great, it was our first with full wet suits and wet suits thicker than 3MM (6 and 7MM). I regret trusting my colleague to communicate on our behalf; I regret not asking more questions when we were dressing out *TRUST YOUR GUT ASK ALL THE QUESTIONS*. We had issues with weight and the owner got impatient; I wish my colleague had communicated it was our first with wet suits. Not the owner's fault, but it was humiliating when he yelled at us. I do appreciate the owner because he did demonstrate care and attentiveness- during the second dive, my daughter had a hard clearing her ears, she followed along from a and comfortable depth; the owner continued to look up and communicate with her until she was able to comfortably join us. I do plan on returning and I do plan on continuing with Venus. I don't plan on going back with my colleague. Bottom-line, communicate with Venus staff your level. If you run into difficulties, do not take it personal. We did our Open Diver Course at Venus Center and could not be happier with our choice. Ivica, Patrick, Tony and Sina were teachers. They explained everything clearly and calm which made learning a big joy. They always planned a mixture of exercises and explorative at different sites where we could see many sea animals and ship wrecks. We would come back any time. Thank you! The owner will rip you off first chance he gets. Me and a couple of friends (6 in total) had booked a trip one month in advance. We gave the owner the address to the house we were staying at and the owner, Ivica, claimed to know the place well and that it would be no problem picking us up at that location on the day of the dive. Late the night before the dive, their driver calls to make plans for the next day. Apparently they misunderstood our address and then try to charge us an extra 120€ since the drive is longer than expected. We were not happy about the extra fee so the driver told us that it would be no problem if we want to cancel, he said ”Ivica said he will refund you the deposit tomorrow”. Clearly this was just a lie. The next day Ivica responds in a rude manner claiming that he has no idea what the driver has said and that he will never pay back the deposit. After reading other reviews, this is clearly something they have put into system and use to scam their customers of their deposits. Basically if you pay a deposit to Ivica, you can consider it gone. I would say KEEP OUT of this place at all costs! I would never trust anyone to go with these people. Edit after answer: Ivica, once again you refuse to own your mistakes and come up with new lies. Everyone who works at Venus were so professional, nice and patient (with me). One of the instructors even did a one-on-one session with me, due to difficulty with equalizing pressure under water. We felt super and taken care of the whole day. An amazing for both beginners and people who have more with scuba diving. They even organized transport to and from split, which was great. Equipment is very well maintained & good spots on offer. My boyfriend and I had the most incredible with Center Venus! We had never been before and did the introductory (you get two 40 minute dives) - we absolutely LOVED it! Our instructor Ivan was incredible - he explained everything so clearly and, most importantly, made us feel so in the water. We did one 6 metre dive, and one 12 metre and saw some beautiful fish. It was a truly surreal and incredible and we’ll definitely be getting our full PADI later this year! Thank you so much!
