So cool! We stopped at Bad Herrenalb while on a driving tour of the Black Forest. It’s a sweet little village. In the small old city is an abbey ruin, kurpark with WWII memorial, and a garden with the old city walls still visible. The parking lot is a paid lot and has some shade. It is free to walk about the park, garden, and abbey ruin. It is very quiet even though a few families were there enjoying the park. I also recommend the Klosterschuer restaurant right nearby. Rather small but pretty mystic and nice place. Can serve as a magnificent photo location as well. Highly recommended if you are nearby you should give it a try and have a look.
