Visited the Karlsruhe Messe in May 2022 to attend the IT-Trans event. The venue is really nice and huge. There are two big exhibition center and lawn in the middle is amazing. The management and staff is very professional. There are many rooms available for the technical meetings. Further, there is big convention hall for plenary session. It can easily hold more than 1000 people. The catering staff is very good and food quality is excellent. We enjoyed the evening party in the open lawn in the middle. It can be good walk from one side of the centre to another. The place is little away from the downtown but it is well connect with public transit. You can take tram line (S2) from the place, it is just 5 mins walk away. The place is very accessible for old people and people with special needs. Very informative due to the tiny house event i went to there. But the Messe, is HUGE! like, super super huge. my god. €4 a small bottle of water? No card’s accepted cash only at the food vendors For a large concert it was set up great.I came on bike no problem with security. But I must say security getting in was kind of weak I could of brought a weapon in no patdowns at all just a quick peek in a bag and ok Karlsruhe Messe please make this a subject to make better Worst concert venue ever. The location is easily accessible by public transport, and there’s enough parking nearby. The atmosphere during events feels professional and organized. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the signage inside is clear, which makes it easy to navigate. Food and drinks are available but a bit pricey.
