We had two very enjoyable seperate stays at Caracalla Spa. The large thermal landscape inside and outside has so many options for different spa experiences. Plenty of deck chairs to relax. Worthwhile to mention is the red heating light section. Clean and well designed rooms with lockers. The staff members we have met are polite, professional and helpful. Spent a 2 enjoying the thermal waters. Ticket for 2 to visit the and use the naturist upstairs is 25 euros plus a 6 euro fee gorvtowel hire. But caution keep an eye on your towel as it's 21 euros if you lose it! In the upstairs it is a no textile and you are obliged to sit on your towels in the saunas. There are lots of choices based on temperatures and there is a cafe. Downstairs the are huge and extend outside so you can swim and bathe in the sun. This is textile so you need a costume. It is very clean and there are lots of areas ...showers and lockers for valuables. You get a waterproof fob that does everything including charging for food and drinks...opening lockers ...gaining access to the etc. Very well run...A must if you are visiting Baden Baden. Excellent place to relax. The are clean. The rooms and lockers make getting in and out quick. The outside are delightful. You pay for either 2 3 or all day. Caracalla Spa: A Heavenly Experience in Baden-Baden Caracalla Spa in Baden-Baden is truly a dream come true for anyone seeking pure relaxation and well-being! From the moment you step inside, you're enveloped in an atmosphere of serene tranquility and pure luxury. It’s the perfect place to let the stresses of daily life completely melt away. The variety of pools, saunas, and steam rooms is simply impressive. Whether you prefer the warm with its bubbling jets, the mineral power of the thermal in the indoor pools, or the beneficial warmth of the diverse saunas – there’s something for everyone. The architecture is beautiful, featuring abundant natural light and a spacious feel, which greatly contributes to the calming ambiance. Moreover, the facilities are exceptionally clean and meticulously maintained, enhancing both comfort and hygiene. The staff is discreet and professional, which helps ensure an undisturbed experience. Take your time to explore all the different zones; you'll find that every corner of the spa offers something unique. Caracalla Spa isn't just a wellness center; it's a complete experience that revitalizes both body and mind. It's the ideal destination to treat yourself, recharge, and completely unwind. An absolute must-visit for anyone looking for a rejuvenating and memorable top-quality spa experience! experience. Loved the pools. The reception person could surely use a smile to make the place more ‘thermal’ (warm). There is a lot of things one can do. Recommend 3-4 minimum. Did not try the cafeteria but it is good. Parking can be validated. Being own towels to save money. And relax as much as u can. Most visitors were nice and fun. The thermal baths offer a variety of pools, hydro jets, aromatherapy, indoor and jacuzzis, hot and cold pools, and red light treatments. The showers are clean, and the staff is friendly and speaks English. However, it’s crowded, with some people hogging the jacuzzis, limiting access for others. Too many teenagers are overly affectionate in the pools, showing little awareness of public behavior. It’s also quite noisy. Overall: Very 👍 Convenient location, parking, rooms, and showers. We only took the aquatic part on the ground floor. The concept is good, but unfortunately the hammam provides almost no heat, and outside most of the is closed for renovations. Still a impression though. Second floor of is amazing, specially the one of 95 degrees. By the way, the front desk is very kind and nice I spent three here with my boyfriend, and the time flew by! We were amazed by everything — the is wonderful, and there are with different temperatures. Lockers, dryers, showers — everything you need is here. Definitely worth a visit! The spa has a beautiful setting with both indoor and that look great. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end for me. The hygiene throughout the spa is really poor. The bathrooms in the spa smell strongly of urine and feel damp and neglected. The whole place is way too moist, including the locker rooms, where I also noticed rubbish on the floor and human hairs everywhere. It gave a very unclean impression and made it hard to relax. The solarium beds are dirty and clearly not taken care of. For a wellness facility, regular and thorough cleaning should be a priority—but here, it clearly isn’t. The is also outdated. While the wooden chalets outside look nice, everything inside feels old and run-down. Overall, the spa looks at first glance, but once you actually use the facilities, it’s clear that cleanliness and maintenance are being ignored. This needs urgent attention. Very nice experience at the Spa. We went 2 in the evening. We took tickets only for Spa and was very relaxing, the are clean and the was very temperature. Also nice wet inside the spa. I liked Caracalla Spa but if I came back to Baden-Baden, it's Friedrichsbad I'd go to. Caracalla is more along the lines of a waterpark than a spa - it's got a big warm round with jets at all heights plus raised bubbling pools, there are two with more jets and waterfalls and hot tubs in the cooler one, there's a steam room, a pair of hot and cold plunge and a full-on cafe/restaurant and lots of sunloungers. Upstairs is the textile-free which somehow felt a bit uninspiring, but then I'm not a huge fan of sitting around feeling too hot - there are two saunas in log cabins which are really hot and you're going to want your shoes to run out to them, as well as a towel to sit on. Inside are some more conventional saunas, one of them with lights, scents and music. There's plenty to keep you busy in the clothed - I spent somewhere around four mostly going backwards and forwards between the hot plunge and the with the occasional trip back to the main to enjoy the massage jets. Wouldn't make a trip to Baden-Baden deliberately to go to Caracalla Spa but if I was in the area, no doubt I'd find myself back here in the evening. I am in wheelchair, I can stand and walk for an average of 20seconds to 1 minute at best, without being in pain. The staff that welcomed me was very nice and explained everything fully. They allowed my friend to come in the room with me so he could help preparing myself. Just left the spa, had a relaxing time. Agreed with few comments about the mold, but seen that everything will be sorting out soon. No clear instruction in English for the solarium. The staff that did the check out made me pay overtime, in a simply very rude way from a grey hair old man with glasses. Asking 1€ without explaining the reason, knowing I speak English so clearly not used to come in here. it’s out of this world to make disabled people pay overtime (whatever disability it can be). As there is obvious help needed before and after the experience. So yes maybe I could head to the room earlier, losing 20 to 30 minutes before and after so in total almost one hour out of the two paid just to get prepared. That’s insane. There should be the ability to offer this extra time for disabled people. Came to relax, left upset and discriminated just for 11minutes.
