Pontoon out of the harbour on the river for guests, quiet expensive, now, low season time. Pontoon is good. Only 22 metres to night club, (insomnia, I can't sleep) open up to morning 6.15,heavy bass sounds here. It's as good as far as it goes. It's a safe and secure mooring with plenty of parking but don't come expecting any further amenities like a toilet/shower block or a place to eat. The mornings provide shore power and fresh water. I didn't see any refuelling or pump-out facilities but perhaps these can be found locally. The ideal of a Hafemaster is here. Great respect to that perfect tattooed man. Best wishes to his boss and all company. Very nice place to stay. Great Marina, approx €30 for an 11m boat in summer. Staff are excellent, genuinely friendly and speak excellent English. Good security at the marina with locked access to pontoons. Town is beautiful and really worth a visit. Loads of good restaurants to eat out and good value for money. This was a great small Marina which you enter via a Foot Bridge that is opened. There was mains electricity and Water, Toilets, Bidet, Showers, Washer and Dryer. What really made this stay extra special was the very warm and friendly Staff here, especially Renato Correia and Paulo Carvalhido , they where great guys and very helpful and we where meet at the Pontoon and helped with our lines. The Marina is right on the town's front so access to all amenities was right there, and the front was very pretty. Check in was very smooth! Even the fish here where friendly and full of confidence! 😉 Vaina do Castelo is a beautiful town and highly recommended to visit. Calm and peaceful place 😁❤️ We had a lovely stay in one of the old dry docks in town that had pontoons with power and water. Marina staff super helpful and met us with a dinghy on the way in. Marina fees very reasonable. Facilities nest to to marina office incl washing machine and dryer. Beauty town, good food and the walk up to the cathedral was worth it. We had a nice afternoon snook fishing trip. Experienced wonderfull guidence of the guide (we had one person with 0 experience who caught his first fish ever😇) The sunset is beautiful on the boat. If u want to go fishing in the north of portugal this is the best trip u can book!
