No shady area available in the parking place. Like most off the Raststätte places in Germany.... it's way too expensive for what you get. Even employees aren't friendly (not all). I went there on a drag-racing day because I was driving by. The track and paddock are definitely worth a visit. You can also drive the track if there are no other events, so you should plan ahead. The museum has a nice collection of cars and bikes, such as championship-winning F1 cars such as Hakkinen's 1998 McLaren and the 1992 Williams, but it's very small and can be seen in less than 2 hours.
