We ordered by pointing to the dish on the menu. Half of the grilled chicken breast and potato was cold, and they also brought the incorrect dish and when we told them their mistake the tall lady waiter was making faces. The dessert was microwawed and was super hot, unable to eat. I’ve been to quite a few restaurants in Slovakia, this was not a experience, not recommended. The view around the is tho. Toilet is dirty Garlic cream soup and ribs are a must. 11/10 Amazing and fantastic view outside. I didn't rate hotel rooms because I wasn't slept here. However I recomend to eat in this restourant with family or friends. Very pretty place, the ribs was perfect, i eat the traditional soup really as well Didnt sleep here, so no idea about the rooms. But restaurant/food/service is bellow the level of slovakian Koliba's. Food before you get your drink, easy way of food preparation, not old grandma's way like they are advertising. Exemple: a block of cheese in you garlic soup instead of shredded parts of cheese. restaurant looks unfinished. Parts of wood unfinished. Its just location if you pass it when thirsty, But PASS it for a real "grandma's kitchen! Better atmosphere and cozy place. Way better to find in near surounding, some things will be even better priced than Holica! Last week we visited this charming place in the mountains. Koliba is placed in a very scenic area, beautifully furnished in country style. We enjoyed the culinary experience at their restaurant, well prepared meals, estetically arranged on plate, great harmony of spices. Same goes for desserts. Our biggest compliment to the chef and the waitresses for serving quality food and wine. The staff was attentive, friendly. There are rooms to rent and we took advantage of this as well. Beautifully decorated with traditional Slovak decor, we enjoyed variety of traditional Slovak dishes and loved them all. Summer lemonades are great, but no ice available.
