We were in the wading pool, where my daughter was trying out her new mermaid fin, when the staff approached us and told us rather harshly (according to my wife as I dont speak Finnish) that our daughter could not use her fin. I guess a swim fin qualifies as “equipment”, which is evidently only allowed during specific times, and during these times we’d have to pay extra to use the fin then. I can also clarify that the wading was completely empty the entire 90 minutes we were at the and that even the other part of the not used for lap was completely empty. If you intend to go with your kids I highly recommend against this pool. Not only is the staff unfriendly but the facilities are old and not maintained and they even removed the water slide.
