We visited for dog sledding in December 2023, from our cruise ship docked in Tromsø. The whole experience was fantastic from meeting and petting the really enthusiastic dogs, to the actual sled ride itself. Our driver was full of interesting facts about the centre and the dogs, and the ride was great fun through some amazing scenery. Unfortunately, my wife was taken ill at the very end of the ride. The staff immediately sprang into action and took great care of her while we waited for the Paramedic. Fortunately she quite quickly recovered and the staff made sure that we were not delayed in boarding our return transport. Thanks to all concerned I really can't recommend this place too highly... It's a good place to try the dog sliding, raindeer sliding, and watching northern lights. But if you have a car or rented one, go chase the aurora by the car for free =D... the staff are nice and very friendly.. they give you the clothes includes suit, gloves, and boots. It's really warm!! And they serve a soup after too ~~ Went on a husky sled ride, best afternoon ever! We came here with our family and enjoyed cross country with A superbe experience !! You get the Chance to pet the and can read about each one a small “personality profile” which is really cute. We only booked the visit, but it is possible to book a sled ride. They take care of the older and provide the possibility to adopt the retired dogs. Indoor seating and toilets are available. Warm drinks and cake as well. I would recommend visiting this place.
