We were lucky because we saw the buffalo from very up close but remember this is a reserves NOT a zoo so if the animal feel like going to you they can if they don't and would prefer to be left alone and hide they can. It's cheap and if you really want to see them you can pay the safari ride to see them very close 😀. They are long way to walk and also long distances googles that are available for free. There is also all those little squirrels/ prairie dogs roaming around and a petting zoo with a donkey and goats. Overall very peaceful place good for the animal that they preserved from extinction I want everyone to experience the majesty of these animals. They are well taken care of here and everything is well marked for visitors. You can take a tour by van or go on foot. Beautiful nature. Lovely place to see all the ground squirrels and birds around. Nicely set up 1km walk on a path through the buffalo paddocks with lookout tower and playground. Very nice , the kids had a good time. We also took the "safari", nice attraction for the kids.
