Fantastic architecture inside, old sculptures with a calming and inspiring atmosphere. The main gate was destroyed during WW2 and NOT rebuilt but converted to a memorial site. Worth a visit. It’s a beautiful, open square full of history and character, right in front of the stunning St.-Paulus-Dom. The area is spacious and peaceful, with cobblestone paths and impressive views of the cathedral. It’s a lovely spot to walk around, take photos, or just sit and soak in the surroundings. Whether you’re exploring Münster for the first time or returning, Domplatz feels like the heart of the city. A great place to pause, reflect, and appreciate the blend of heritage and calm.
