We adopted our 2 precious black kitten girls from this shelter. The staff is very attentive and before the adoption happens they make sure that the new owners and the pets match based on the pets' needs, owners living conditions, time availability etc. Before coming to the shelter for the first visit we contacted them beforehand and filled in a questionnaire providing all the necessary information. Also, we suggested a few kittens from the website that we thought may be a match. A meeting with one of our choices was organised and we instantly said "Yes". We are very happy with our 2 cats and would recommend this shelter. I also liked that on the website there is description of all the pets and what it would require to take care of them. We have an incredibly anxious and lonely boxer dog that we bought from a (fantastic) breeder and requested any cat that may suit his energetic behaviour. We were called back the next day after filling out the online form and made an appointment. The lady who helped us, if only I could remember her name, was so helpful and kind. She showed us the only cat she felt was suitable. Bella is her name and she has been the best cat anyone could ever ask for. Her description matched perfectly what the dierenasiel employee said about her. She has changed our dogs life and, as someone who wasn't necessarily a cat lover previously, I completely adore her and we are greeted by our two perfect animals every day we come home from work!
