Definitely one of the loveliest tourist office/information I've ever seen, also considering the size of the city! Firstly it is very big and spacious. Then there are plenty of interesting free leaflets of both Sint-Truiden and the surrounding areas, and the gift shop is so well stocked and offers many different items and products. The (young) staff was friendly and let us comfortably have a look at everything. Finally, it was open on a weekend afternoon, which is good and attentive, much appreciated! Nice place. 2nd largest market square in Flanders, but the tourism center being in the middle, this is not really visible. St Truiden is one of my favourite medium-sized city in Belgium! 👍👍👍👍 Very nice city (town 🤫) with magnificent views , not yet overcrowded with tourists Lovely town in Belgium's eastern province Limburg. It has a number of buildings with frescoes such as the main church that has recently been renovated so the colours of the frescoes sparkle as if just painted. Also the abbey (with its destroyed church due to a fire but the tower can be climbed to see the surrounding area) as well as the beguinage have important frescoes. There are also a number of castles in town and in the surrounding villages. Also known as the main fruit centre of Belgium and worth a visit during spring when the trees are flowering. Very beautiful place with kind poeple!
