A thid is part of the small tour worth the visit It will enchant people that loves history and boats. It is amazing how people travel oceans on board of a nutshell. The is small, but displays beautiful scale models of 16th century ships. The true scale 16th century moored in front of the (the Nau Quinhentista) is superb and must by all means be visited. When I checked the information online, after my visit, I learned that I should also have visited the nearby Casa do Barco. Unfortunately, no one at the reception gave me that information. Cost a euro each to get in and not a lot there but for a euro it was very well done and informative of a 1500s ship. Interesting to visit, but hard to imagine how life on the boat might have been like, because there is no labelling whatsoever. Good for kids, as they are allowed to climb the many ladders and explore every nook and cranny. Not a good option if one has any type of mobility issues. Tickets are 2€ (September 2022) and include entry to the museum. In my opinion, one of the best things in Vila do Conde. The (which is a new one, but built exactly like an antique one) is definitely worth a visit. Even if you won't have a guide or explanation signs, the is very well made and makes you feel the atmosphere of the Portuguese sailors. The ticket has to be bought in the in front of the and it's just 2€ (you will also gets access to the museum) Great to visit with children. The boat is beautiful and they can climb a lot of small ladders to explore it. So amazing! It’s beautiful how you can see the way they used to live inside ⚓️ Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
