We spent a week here in the summer, as the last house of the museum is a vacation rental. It's a very cozy place. Very interested to learn about the tragedy that befell the fishing fleet here. Also commemorating the shooting down of a Halifax Bomber in January 1943. Small glimpse into fisherman’s house We fell in love with the village. The guardians of the museum were so kind and friendly. The buildings are fascinating, the way of life was beautifully told and the fishing disaster was a huge tragedy. We could have easily spent the whole day in the area exploring. It's of interest to those engaged in knitting heritage too! We will be revisiting next trip.
