Very clean mine and there are 2 toilets. Great place for adults and kids to have fun, relax and unwind all year round o any given weather. There are parking places right at the ticket office. (Free parking on weekdays, like we were) Adult ticket - 40 RON Entrance is once every 5-10 minute with a bus shuttle - road to the mine takes about 3-5 minutes drive. Once you get off the bus, to the entrance, you need to check your ticket at the tourniquets to enter. The mine has a lot of places destined for sports: tenis, ping-pong, football, basketball There is also a chapel further into the mine and we were surprised to see a sort of wine cellar 'Recaș' branch there. So, there is activity for all to enjoy. It's a good 👍 place to visit. I recommend this place, especially for families. Having no previous of mines I have no compassion but as experiences go I was very impressed by the level of amenities here at this hidden gem of an attraction. Transportation is 30 minutes away and it's a cramming in the already old buses. More investment in transportation is needed. In other mines it is much more organized here. Even in a mine the Romanians make child friendly amenities. Not free... contribution required but worth it. Great treatment for sinus or breathing issues. Not easy to reach but once there...worth the effort. A great piece of history, a former mine converted to a tourist attraction. The access to the tunnel is provided by buses. The site offers many activities. There's a restaurant and a wine cellar, a church, a skating rink, table tennis, a souvenir shop, and a playground for kids.
