We really enjoyed the guided of the caves, it makes stunning photographs and the informative was entertaining as well educational. It's also a good way to keep cool on a hot day. This is such a made by Mother Nature. I was so amazed by just looking at all the stalactites, stalagmites, soda straws, columns, and flowstones. They’ve been there for over 1000 years. There are small and medium underground lakes around the with fresh water, and a few lazy moving animals could make your kids interested. This is a that both adults and children alike can enjoy visiting.. After walking through a thousand stairs, you will enjoy a show of lights near the end of the tour. It is definitely worth it. Entering with a cardigan or a jacket in summer could help. We did with a one hour tour, and our spoke both French and English. Outside the cave, there is a restaurant with a view and a gift shop. If you still have time after visiting the cave, you can ask your the way to walk around, or walk to the waterfall that is not far away from the cave. I highly recommend booking the ticket online before visiting, it could save you a lot of time. The price of a ticket for adults is 12€, children from 0 to 3 old is 1.50€ , 4 old to 14 old is 7.50€, 15 old to 18 old is 10.50€. No doubting the spectacle is pretty amazing. I imagine the person that discovered this was blown away. My only reserve is the almost maufactured feel. It seems all too perfect. I have been in all around the world and prefer them to be more natural. easily accessible. Not a lot to see but the view is to die for! Reserving in advance is advised since it’s always packed. The guides are well organized & there is a large option for language translation for the non-French speakers. At the end of the tour, inside the cave, there was a musical lights show that played. It was very different i liked it, it brought the to life. I took a lot of pictures and videos. A souvenir shop is located at the exit as for the bar is overpacked which makes the service slow. The staff was friendly and there’s a restroom near the parking. This place is not advised for people who fear heights or people with disabilities. It is child friendly and family oriented. It is definitely a place for photography enthusiasts. Unique natural attraction. Guided tours every hour. Mangificant views inside the of stalactites and Underground lake. Multi media show with lights and music. Strange and funny animals without eyes 👀 😁 remember to take warm clothes as temperature is around +5+10 all year around. Amazing place to if you are close to Grenoble or Valence. It's fascinating to try and imagine how long did take this to get its forms and cavities, making it a and really mysterious place that we can enjoy nowadays. Will sure try to again in the future. We went on Sunday at 17:00 and there was a lot of space in the free parking. The price is totally affordable, 11-14€ and the is totally recomendable. The guide, Lorena, was a bit helpless since we were 7 people in the group, all English speakers but only 4 French speakers and she didn't agree to speak in English during the visit, although she does speak English... we would have appreciated some words in English at least during the visit, but she only spoke English to explain how the audioguides work and for a quick explanation of one spot that wasn't included in the audioguide. She looked tired, though. Maybe just a bad day. Cést Spectacular Stunning roads to ride for bikers on the indirect routes from Crest and Die. It's a guided at set times with guidance via headsets in various languages. The views between the mountains from the entrance are beautiful! Turn left on to the main road after you leave for a stunning narrow twisty road. Wow what a place this is magical, absolutely unbelievable 😍 would definitely return! Run really well, very good staff members. Juste magnifique affaire avec vos enfants si vous avez un tout petit peu la notion altruiste et courageux Great visit! Audio in many languages, and very nice guide. Beautifully made route and views. Very nice and caces! At the entrance there is a cafe where it is possible to stop for eating other drinking something. It is also where you stop for buying the tickets in case you have not done it online. After that, a small path takes you to a waiting area in front of the caves. It is here where you wait for the and in the meantime you can read about the and some archeological information about the area. Once the begins you are given an audioguide. English, German, Russian, Chinese, Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Polish, and Italian are available. Inside the will accompany and turn on the lights inside the at the various stations of the tours. We also saw the animals that inhabit the on the aquariums. The audioguide I had gave some information but then the gave a lot of extra information in French which unfortunately I could not understand. Once the is completed, you simply give the audioguide back and exit the cave. Overall I recommend this a lot as it was very interesting!! The interior is always cold, so dress warm. The is guided and takes around 1hour. Amazing experience! Lucien was a superb guide; explanation, funny and very friendly. I recommend ++++ My daughter loved it too! Incredible experience ! As a traveller I've seen many things but very little like this place. The guides are awesome and so on top of being in a magical place. Definitely a must do if you're around ! — the is truly impressive, and the guide’s stories were really fun and interesting. We were a bit disappointed by the light show, though. It felt a bit kitschy and random, without much connection to the cave’s history. We would’ve much preferred to learn more about the itself and get a better sense of how amazing it must have been to discover it. Visite très intéressante avec le guide. Je recommande. went on a rainy summer day, it was full, had to book online for the last at 6pm. is in French but they have audio if u want it in English. sadly you will get recorded messages and not the nice voice and comments from Lucien who was the best! cave in itself is and definitely worth a visit! the light show was a nice surprise and seeing the underground creature in the aquarium was as well. Great way to spend a couple of hours (visit in itself is 1h). if u arrive early there is a café down the road, nestled between trees and rocks.
