Boat Harbor of Porvoo. My experience is by foot, since I haven't got a boat. Lovely restaurants by the river. Some have also a floating terrace or a restaurant boat. The promenade by the river is beautiful in summertime, a lot of flowers and old trees. The park of August Eklöf on the west side has a nice little stream and a fountain and very beautiful perennials that flower all summer long. There are four bridges over the Porvoonjoki River, one of them only for pedestrians and bicycles. The Old Bridge locates in the old Town of Porvoo and is being renovated. The best part of Porvoo during summer time! We visited the harbour and City of Porvoo in the middle of August, at a Saturday. Its a nice place in general and especially the old harbour with its storing houses is very nice to look at as is the old town in general too. But it was a little bit like in a holiday park and packed with tourists. We would not have visited the town and harbour of Porvoo if we would have been aware of this in advance!
