No frills and no stress restaurant/ a place to relax. Our toddler had 2 swings, a see-saw, a ladder and some ropes to climb to stretch her legs (no slide though as I think I had seen in some photos). We sat at a table outside, got menus from inside and went inside to order. Looked like that’s the way here. The food was good, the prices too. They had a small table with chairs for kids inside as well as at least 3 high chairs. The toilet was ok and had a baby change table (we didn’t try it out). There are some tables covered by parasols in case of rain or too much sun. There is a groceries store in the same building next door as well as an ice cream booth where you can get both single-wrapped and smaller and larger boxes of Druva ice cream. There are also e-mobi EV chargers. We just stopped on our way to Riga. And we were pleasantly surprised. A nice relaxed place, very clean, great ice cream shop and nice restaurant. So much better than those big fast food restaurants that we have along our high ways. Parking with a caravan was easy too. Very traditional Latvian canteen menu with very tasty schnitzel (karbonāde). Large portions. Very decent place to stop for a food on the road. Will be stopping here again. Good service. Lovely location and food. Great prices and great portions! Was surprised to see that a cheaper half portion here is the same size as a full portion in other places. 🙌🙌 Surprisingly good even though the menu is only in Latvian.
