We were able to see the many creations here at the gallery AKA gift shop part of the after the museum Closed. Disappointed to miss the 20 minute video if the history and mining of amber. The creations here are unique, upscale, crafted pieces, one of a kind. The venue packs a huge amount of incredible creations They said we weren’t allowed to take pictures even though we didn’t see it stated anywhere else but they do have pretty cool stuff. It’s a bit cramped in the shop if you’re a bigger group though. Best we have been to (and we seen many collections in different countries)🙏😍 Extremely well designed experience and beautiful collection. Here we learned about whole history from formation to how it has been used. Moreover, we came late ~ 17.30 and then tour they stream started at 17.00 so they offered us half the price for entry. Very grateful! Staff answered all questions. Shop is unique but of course overpriced as it gets with museums🌊 It is but has a very varied collection. A tour with a video is scheduled on different screens in the museum. In each video they tells very interesting things and in a way that captures your attention. When the video tour ends you have several interactive activities with the amber. At first the ambat may seem indifferent to you, but when you leave it it is another wonder of the world. They have a store with different jewelry, rigor and so on, but everything is excessively expensive. In short: a worth visiting. Must see, you learn so much from experiencing this lovely museum. An interactive, fascinating experience. Anything and everything about amber. There are all sorts of ambers presented in glass casing: large, small, see-through, not see-through, from different countries around the world, it's a pretty small, but very varied collection. the biggest in Lithuania is here. You can see, touch, and even smell amber. What are ambers? How do they form? Why're there all sorts of different things, even animals, in ambers? After going here you'll have pretty much every answer about anything you'd want to know about amber. A must visit in Nida. Surprises me every time how little we know about Lithuanian culture! Found this fascinating and interactive, too. Absolutely wonderful! The place had a variety of wonderful types of amber, and also a great interactive story. The place wasn't even expensive, and the service was wonderful. 10/10, would recommend! Must see in Nida! Interactive, rich exposition about Baltic and Curonian Spit directly from owners who devoted their live to amber. Deep knowledge about in 1 hour:-) Nice shop with unique works from amber. Hightly recommended to visit. The itself is very well made, however the main interest lies within guides who tell you the story of and guide Neda really did that as best as one could do it. Recomend it for everyone interested What an amazing & inspirational audio visual presentation, collection of & interactive experience. It explains the history, formation, cultural aspects & local traditions & the spiritual. Loved it & highly recommend to visit.
