Toilets and showers are all brand new ! It's not a "factory camping" like all of these on the south coast of Norway, places for tents are big, it's so enjoyable ! The has almost all facilities you need, including laundry with dryers, the best toilets with cabin showers (modern and clean), dishwashing area and beach showers. The owners are friendly and helpful. The only thing we were missing is the common kitchen area as many other sites normally have. This would safe a lot of time for travellers. There is an opportunity for fishing around the island by boat or a canoe (possible to rent from the owner as well). Prices are feasible as well. Fishing from the shore is not really an option due to shallow waters. The noise from nearby road might be disturbing a bit during the traffic. But this is very much dependent on a sesong. Austre Bokn have been the best sit I’ve been. The parking lots are very organised each with a different view. Almost all parking lots have a private picnic table/bench. Toilets and washing area is tastefully done and superbly clean . Price reasonable and owners are friendly too! Although the price for a tent for one night is pretty steep, i love the place! Showers are clean and modern, and the tent place is pretty spacious.
