Rooms didn't have any ventilation and it started smelling due to that. We had to open the windows but then the road noise and the noise from the construction sight was disturbing. There wasn't a single lamp one could turn on to have a proper light in the room when needed. We were using either the light from the TV or the bathroom light when curtains drawing wasn't an option. Bed was really bad. It was way too soft. A few times when I was near the edge I slides down on the floor because it couldn't keep a proper form. They didn't clean the room even a single time during those four nights we stayed. Breakfast was also nothing special. Price for that type of place was too high especially when it wasn't anywhere close to any special tourist attractions. Not recommended at all. A good place to stay for the night. Unfortunately, the beautiful view has been destroyed by construction. It was this construction that woke us up at 7am. Keep this in mind if you plan to stop. We have been here several times on out trips between Bergen, Haugesund and Stavanger, with and without pets. The motel is pet friendly, but they have to stay in the room whenever you eat breakfast. The breakfast is very nice for the price, and the nice lady who makes is it exceptional! The rooms could use with some upgrades, as they can get stuffy and way too warm in the summer, but they are cleaned as well as they can be. The linens are clean and the beds are good. Would definitely recommend staying here for a short stop or a layover! Very nice place for short staying. We were here little bit more than two weeks.. Perfect views nearby and clean rooms. Will come again probably for vacation) Rooms were clean. Bed was probably the worst one i have ever slept in. Way to soft. Hard to get out of it again. Breakfast was good. But it closed at 11am so there is no place to sit and relaxed during the day. When i Ordered the room , i was told i can buy dinner there. But when i got there, i was told they do not serve dinner during the weekend. Will probably not come back here. No sleep for 2 days and no place to meet others Friendly, super place great alternative to the main hotels in Haugesund. After 15+years of making my way around various parts of Norway and staying in and around Haugesund for many of them I found a great little jewel of a place close to local amenities. Will definitely be going back when I next visit friends in the area. I love this standard and i never choose any other place for resting on my adventures on Norway.
