Fantastic place for anyone interested in tanks, armoured and warfare history. Inexpensive and very friendly staff Awesome place to spend an hour or so if your into classic tanks and other vehicles. A lot of different types of Tanks and other military vehichles. There's also a lot of information about the different times, like WWI, WWII, The Cold War, etc. Well worth a visit. Lots and lots of tanks. Large indoor museum with Swedish, a few Brit and US ones and a couple of German and Russian ones. Also a regimental museum. The highlight was a ride in an armoured personnel carrier. We had to wait an hour, ticketed queue, great fun. My boy loved it! Very good quality museum for people interested in tanks and war time vehicles. There is also a very nice unit collection on the first floor for which the signs are unfortunately only in Swedish but it's still interesting and worth using google translate. During my visit it wasn't to busy so i had ample opportunity to look at and make photo's. Gift shop has the normal stuff, but but the book selection is mainly Swedish. I can recommend the museum and would expect to spend 2-4 hours visiting it. Really nice place to see a variety of tanks. Price is fair.
