One of the Best Places To Visits in Omurtag Frequently mentioned in reviews: Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. What’s not to love? A on the side of the road that exhibits soviet fighter planes. Free to enter, and you just have to on the side of the road. Some and aerospace mehanics in the field by the road. No parking or other infrastructure. Free of entry. Really interesting trio of aircraft and a missile and radio truck. Random place but well worth stopping by. Free entry. 🏞️ A selection of warbirds, missiles and a vintage radar truck. Great reminder of the Soviet machines that kept us safe from the western menace that encircles any land that dares remain free. Parking is in the layby. You can take the dirt path for a view from above. A little where you can relax. My Kids enjoyed it. Great little park. Be careful because the parking doesn't have surveillance and it's somewhat dangerous A small in the middle of nowhere near to the city of Omurtag. An excellent place for kids and their fathers. There are 3 planes, one rocket and a truck. Those are old Russian planes, Su22, MiG20, and MiG 21. The rocket is a land-air missile for attacking planes. You can't expect much of this park, but is one of those where you can touch a plane, even you can ride it😁 My boy was excited to touch a plane, to see it so close to his eyes, so I recommend it as a one time visit. If you on the road between Varna and Sofia, just stop for a while, and show those beauties to your kid. Enjoy😉 The are cool and there's some useful info about them but the place is not maintained at all. Long grass and lots of garbage. Benches are old and broken. 3 airplanes, 1 anti air missile, 1 radar truck, the latter in really bad condition. You can't enter the vehicles. Nice place, showing a lot of military history and technology with just few fighters. It is interesting feeling standing next to these machines. From so close you realise how big and incredible they actually are. Nice quick stop. Migs can be seen from very close, and nobody baders you. Nice spot for seeing the detailes.
