The waiting time was nothing short of a marathon, and it seemed like the staff couldn't care less about our time or comfort. But the real horror show began when the food finally arrived. The quality was beyond disappointing – it was downright appalling. The dishes were undercooked. It's as if the chef had no idea what they were doing in the kitchen. When I asked the Waiter, 'Can you please hurry up cooking the pizza?' he responded rudely stating it couldn't be done. We ordered one jumbo and waited one hour for it. To me, he was acting like a racist, but to everyone else, he was OK. Even the dishes they gave us to eat were filthy. I've travelled and eaten in high-end restaurants as well as low-end restaurants throughout my life, and they was always good at hospitality but this was a bad experience. I wouldn't recommend Restaurant Orijent to my worst enemy. The combination of bad service, rude behavior, excruciating waiting times, and abysmal food quality makes this place an absolute disaster. Save yourself the misery and steer clear of this restaurant. Nice meal soup included top price, decent toilet, fast service. Mozzarella was very good. The cheese itself was done beautifully. Aunt and Uncle both got the calamari and finished their plates. It's off the beaten path if you are a tourist, but if you happen to be in the area I'd recommend it. Side note, I'm unsure of the level of English spoken. Menu was in Croatian and German and while my family helped place my order the waitress did not seem to speak English but this was not a problem in my case. That was so yummy! The food is not that expensive, but not worth the money you are paying for it. My greatest enemy wouldn't get a recommendation for this eatery.
