Last time I was here was 10 months ago now next to the children’s swing is a bar/cafe! Good move as I enjoy this and thought it was way underused. The front entrance has also changed slightly from a sandy water entrance to grass and I did notice there was not any Geese there: Still the kids love a walk around this Great for lunch lots of choices sandwiches, snacks, tapas. Lovely friendly staff, great food and lovely to be al fresco too. This cafe has got even better with time, a lovely tranquil place to take a break and watch the world go bye. If you have had a breakfast at one of the local bars or restaurants, why not wander over the road to the Park, This is just on the outskirts of Benijofar. Kiosca Maria is within the manicured parkland. On a warm day, you have the option of ice creams, drinks of all types plus fresh Tapas, the toilets are well kept Many feathered types of birds are around every corner. Chickens, Cockerels and many ducks, plus larger birds if you are lucky. A slow stroll around is a very relaxing and enjoyable few hours. On the entrance there is a map, this shows a much longer walk through different villages and you can walk along the Segura River. At this time of year, June, unfortunately the water is very slow flowing, so be aware of the smell.. For us, the was enough. She takes the slice of bread, cuts it, and after watching it toast a little, she takes it and puts it in without putting it in the toaster, thinking that I wouldn't notice. From what I can see, she likes to laugh at the customers and the coffee is undrinkable. On top of that, you have to be careful with the bill. You have to know the prices before you get the bill. Fuimos para tomar un café y que el niño disfrute de los patos y nos dijo que había que consumir 10 € como mínimo por persona debido a que había una actuación de una persona no reconocida nacional e internacionalmente me parece un descaro Mi marido, mi hijo y yo fuimos a dar un paseo al parque de los patos un domingo para pasarlo en familia. Pensamos en sentarnos para tomar un café y el niño jugar en el parque. Como todos los papa y mamás para desconectar nos quisimos tomar un café. Al final no pudimos por el mínimo de consumición que pedía, el precio era elevado por persona (10€) y además solo bebidas alcohólicas para un determinado público, que interesa económicamente. Hace discriminación por dinero al no poder disfrutar del establecimiento tomándote algo rápido. Me parece injusto que no puedas disfrutar en cualquier lugar debido a la avaricia de sacar dinero. La clientela debe ser heterogénea no toda igual y dar la oportunidad a todo el mundo de disfrutar. Gracias por nada. Wonderful place, nice for dog walking. Lovely Kiosk (Marias) Coffee Tosdadas toilets good parasols chairs etc Lovely and Kiosk which was easy to access for my husband on mobility scooter. We went to the on Sunday and there is now a green pathway around Kiosk with no disabled ramp as before. The one possible access place was blocked by advertising boards. Such a shame as a nice place to visit.
