Museum of the University of Alicante

Alicante, Spain Museum

Top-rated.online cuts through the clutter, highlighting only the reviews that are most helpful, earn the most likes, or come from the most active contributors. Great architecture. Good exposition. Unfortunately was closed. While it looks deteriorated and abandoned, the building is a remarkable piece of contemporary architecture A gem of a museum nested within the University of Alicante campus. Outstanding permanent collection as well as a variety of revolving exhibits of various artists.. Greater Spanish as well as local artists. Well worth the visit. Budget at least 2 hours, more if you can. It's a small museum located on the university campus. The building itself is interesting and the entrance is free, but there was not much to see when I visited in January. Not sure if it looks the same during high season, but in winter most of the place is closed down. Whenever I have time and nothing to do I like to see what new pieces they have on display in this place. It gives me great inspiration for my own work. The place is clean and air-conditioned. A 30-minute tram ride from the city centre brings you to the University campus. The museum is friendly but it's collection was not very interesting in our opinion. Google Maps has the timetable wrong (like most things in Alicante) this is closed the entire month or August! Excellent place. Free entrance, modern building. 100% recommendable. Very good show, but problems with sound quality (live band performance) Website change monitoring Monitor any webpage for changes – get instant email alerts when prices drop, new jobs are posted, products come back in stock, or competitors update their sites.
