Situado en el centro de la ciudad de Elda. Museo de artesanía e historia del calzado, muy didáctico y emotivo en la historia del calzado en la localidad en España y a nivel mundial, con sus curiosidades. Muy recomendable su visita si visitas la ciudad de Elda Fasanting while waiting for someone and to kill the time went into this museum, even if you are not into Shoes, just to see hundreds of styles going back hundreds of years to present day.. This is an absolute must see! They have made and provided for a lot of famous people including a lot of famous actors and musicians and even the Pope! *Thank you to the very generous and welcoming staff who went out of their way to provide us with information and show us around - Hamish John Appleby Buen sitio para conocer la historia del calzado de Elda If you Elda, this is one of the main place to visit. If you are a shoe passionate or shoemaker you will enjoy the visit. Old machines and shoes.. The exhibits are spread over 2 floors in 4 rooms. Well displayed and interesting. I loved it! Loads of interesting information about history!! The is huge and the receptionist was incredible.. he would explain everything and tell you all you need to know on your visit! It’s 3 euros! You have to go! Nice Good historic place Nos encantó el museo ,todo está muy bien ,y con buena información. Buen sitio I wasn't sure what to expect or if my husband would be interested. Well how wrong could I be, this is a really interesting place to and should be promoted more. Like most things in Spain it is extremely inexpensive to I feel the price could be raised but thats up to the powers that be. It's an historical account of the Spanish shoe industry with a room for all students in this line of work to research and oh boy what a room although i'm not sure we should have ended up in there. The has thousands of pairs of shoes, plus machinery that was historically used to make them. The staff were very friendly & helpful and the was spotless. Well worth a visit. 3€ entry with lots to see, set out over 3 floors. Fabulous look at shoemaking through the ages with some gems amongst the exhibits. Really friendly, helpful staff and a little gift shop so you can buy a reminder of your visit.
