The website isn’t explicit, but if you get there - even a fraction of a minute late - you’ll find the doors locked and no amount of gesturing or pleading will get them open! Guided tours are available at 11, 12 noon and 1pm. We arrived at 11:02am and the doors were closed and we couldn’t get in. We got back at 11:50 and joined a smallish crowd going in and gained entry to sanctum inside. Well a visit for €3, plenty of information on walls etc., as you go around - a quite astonishing Art Nouveau house. One thing disappointed us, having been built by an amazing woman at a time when women, especially in Spain, did not run their own businesses, we would have loved to know more about her background, the origin of her wealth and business expertise. Simply knowing that she had two daughters was not good enough! Parking is non-existent as it’s in the old part of Novelda and on-street parking is about seven or eight minutes away - if you can find a spot! Get there early! The is not suitable for wheelchairs, etc only the ground floor might be accessible. In the atrium style garden there is a well kept, clean toilet. One star lost for the intractable nature of the entry system. Otherwise well recommended. A beautiful art deco building full of lovely furniture and lots of information on how the family lived. A lovely central court. A truly wonderful to see with the entrance fee of just €3 Well seeing. Amazing Art Nouveau interiors. Entrance is at set times. Sadly closed for drop ins, pre arranged tour only on the day we visited 😟 Exceptional place.Went there twice - first day to visit and second day for classic music concert. Very good place to be. We visited when the museum was quiet and were able to walk around at our own pace. So many beautiful rooms to admire, from the artwork on the ceilings, the incredible staircase with its ironwork, to the antique furniture and items in every room. Well the €3 entry. Very interesting Art Nouveau mansion in Novelda. The museum has quite simple displays, with a very interesting history to the and its founding family. Well a visit if you like Art Nouveau architecture and design. Beautiful designed, decorated, and furnished in modernist (art nouveau) style. There was a very interesting talk in spanish by the knowledgeable curator. Well the small entrance fee. I was amazed by this place! It had a lot of beautiful remnants from the era of Spanish modernism. As an artist I felt very inspired :) My only concern was the quality of service at the museum. We've arrived around 13:30 and the reception lady was talking with someone through the phone and showed us to wait a minute. By the time she served us it was like 13:40 and she told us that we cannot get in because it was too late. After some arguing she finally let us in and we ended up seeing everything and leaving the place before they close it. We're of course very grateful for that oportunity to see everything but the question is - was that arguing really necessary after all? Having in mind that the span of time in which this museum is open is really narrow and probably most of the people have to drive there by a car I think it wasn't necessary. I was absolutely amazed when I entered this house/museum. It's full of Art Deco treasures and has been immaculately restored. Well a visit. Fantástico and beautiful place doors were closed even though they were supposed to be open. there are some people getting a tour so we politely ask if we can enter. a girl walks up to us and speaks to us as if we are poop under her shoe. she refuses to speak english to us in a demeaning tone. we would have loved to see the inside but this snobby brat ruined it!
