This is full of lecherous men that cruise around, confusing it with a gay sauna. Perhaps a nudist culture will return in peak season, but make sure to bring lots of friends, something to play, and start reporting inappropriate behavior, especially people who touch themselves. Clothed people or mixed groups are not an issue at all. You can walk through, lie down, and undress once you feel comfortable doing so.
