Some Tee Boxes need to be restored. Drainage terrible after some rain, fairways get soggy and unplayable. Staff ok except the manager (bold headed). Rude for no reason. I played this course in October 2023 at a rate of 87 Euro. I shared a buggy with my playing partners. There is zero chance that you want a trolley because the course is very hilly with some long stretches between holes. It is a beautiful course with a challenging layout. A big gripe I have is that the practice green is like putting on ice and so after spending 15 minutes getting comfortable with how the greens would roll, I got out on the course and found them MUCH slower. I couldn't adjust and left everything short all day long. Restaurant was great as was service...but that practice green. don't bother! The Belas Club de Campo Golf Course is considered to be one of the best in Portugal. It is a Championship Golf Course, with about 6.109 metres, which offers an extremely challenging experience. One off the best Golf course in Lisbon, very nice greens, rate 5* Tricky course in places - quite long. Plenty of water and some blind shots. Greens very good some fairways need a bit of work. Food very good in clubhouse afterwards and staff helpful and polite. Worth a visit. (Handicap 13 opinion) Very difficult track in the rain and wind. Well designed with the fastest greens we played all week. Expect a quite hilly course and the experience as a guest with a trolley was not only quite exhausting, but more stressfully than relaxing, because after every stroke you will find another cart behind you waiting to pass. That gets even worse when you have long walks between the tees which happens quite a lot, especially on the second 9. This info is important: when you want to have fun here (at least in the afternoon) you will need a cart and if only, because all the locals use one. Unfortunately no one told us (neither me nor the other guests I met on hole 18 who made their own experiences with people in carts). Besides that: the locals I met and talked to were very nice, at the reception and on the course. The course itself is quite interesting, especially the second nine. Although you can really see the holes 11 to 13 destroying nature (see picture): they were shaped into a valley which looks totally natural with thick bushes on both sides of the fairways and one can only imagine the damage done for nature in this valley just for these three tees and the care of them.
