The last two years my daughter and her friends always complained on the language aspect, because they don’t speak much of Portuguese and counsellors didn’t speak much of English. They feel lost most of the time. I hope the international camp this summer will be much better in that way. Also, there are way tooo many kids in the camp the same time. They need to queue for an activity forever.. which leads no fun anymore. Lastly I do want to stress that My Camp should monitor kids’ bed better! They are left till midnight or 1am every day to go to bed, the kids think it was so exhausting and unnecessary, and I think it is not healthy for anyone to continue another active day in the morning. Please make the bed reasonable and compulsory! All the staffs should be trained and told well on this. Looking forward to a much better managed/organised International Camp in summer! Overall, thank you. I came here with a school group in May 2024. The team we worked with were engaging, energetic and communicative. Each day had a full schedule and at the same was able to react to our needs. Gabi was a pleasure to work with! A great experience for kids! My 15-year old girl had the of her life. No phones allowed (only 45min a day to call family) and lots of activities, sleeping in glamp or dorm, team work, friendship. Really good camp. The workers were really nice and it had a lot of activities. But the beds weren’t that comfortable. I recommend and I will definitely be coming here again. Loads of fun activities to do, Roger made the trip even better with the "Im gonna break my monitor, I swear" and playing the sad ai cat sound effect and battling him with pool noodles For a foreigner that's been to a few camps here in Portugal as a teacher, this is by far the best. Safe, loads of monitors always asking if things are okay. Flexible. Loads of activities. Just all round good.
