It was clean and were helpful. He enjoyed himself. Absolutely banging 5 stars. I did not expect Scunthorpe Bowl to be so good! I took 4 X teenagers and had booked bowling. We got the summer discount so it was value. We had not been before as we are staying with but I was blown away. The whole area looks run down and sad but the place is super clean and modern inside. The had three games and the guy on the counter was super and friendly. They then had a game of and then we ended up having an extra game of which was hilarious! A super way to spend of you've got teens or little ones. The alley was busy and so there was a nice atmosphere. I got three drinks from the bar which again I thought was fair value. There are also arcade games, air hockey and lots more. We will definitely be back. Lovely proper alley. The pins were proper pins not them silly ones on string. brilliant, very helpful. The lanes are well looked after. And the food on offer was value. facilities and venue. The had fun. There is lots for to do. Unfortunately the customer service, staff, and waiting times let's the place down. We had to complain about dirty toilets not cleaned, and 2 that didn't work at all. We then tried to order food, and was told it would be a 45 minute wait before they even start making our food. Then a further 45minute wait to get the food cooked. So basically 1h30min wait for food. Everytime you go to the bar for a drink, there is no one there. You have to stand and wait for 10mins before someone comes to serve you from serving at a different station. They do not have enough staff! And therefore are spread too thin and far between. And for this reason alone I give it a low mark. If they can get more staff, and sort their customer service, it would be a cracking place. Until then we will be going elsewhere. As you spend more waiting to be served, than actually enjoying the facilities you paid for. Your a place to visit and we all had a fantastic 👏👏👏 love liza xx We took our 4 year old here while we were in the area for a few days and it was brilliant, were very welcoming and and the facilities were good. Took my daughter here for her birthday with her friends. Its a place to take your kids. However the seemed moody and when one of the food orders were wrong they got pretty rude and fed up that they had to change it. Both boys (9 years old) had a time, and playing pool. I had made a mistake with booking and offered us games for both and golf, we had some issues with which he also fixed asap, when i went during a weekday it was semi busy. We went for my sons 19th Birthday and we had a fantastic time, the were so friendly, we did the axe throwing and two games of and everything was such value. We have been here a few times now and really enjoy it. However, yesterday we were there and it was chaos. Booking in was grumpy, only 1 bar man, to serve drinks and take food orders, plus take food to the tables. Also, only 1 Chef in the kitchen. They had a lot to do between themselves.
