This is the third Landal we have stayed at in the Netherlands. It is the smallest out of the three, certainly in terms of the public/ recreational areas. The swimming was quite small but we had fun non-the-less. We didn't go bowling but we hired the bikes. The resort is on the edge of the forest, literally cross the road and you're there. You can cycle into the nearest towns by going through the forest, or indeed go explore the forest. The bungalows are very nice and similar to other Landal sites. We found them to be clean, spacious and quiet. We are a family of four and we're upgraded to a 6 person bungalow, hence we found it nice and spacious. Our teenager seemed bored, though he just wanted to be home with his friends so maybe not a good guide to how teenagers take the park. The 10 year old loved the and that was enough for him. We went in October half term holidays (I think Dutch schools already went back) so this was quiet. My concern would be during a busy period - the swimming must be very busy. Overall I loved the park and great location if you want to pop over to Germany (just don't go on a random public holiday as NOTHING is open as I found out. Smaller Landall park surrounded by woods and farmland. All usual Landall activities and services albeit on smaller scale were available. Detached cottage style bungalows surrounded by a private garden ara with pp. Inside parly warn out but renovation of kitchens and bathrooms was in progress. Well maintained green. Friendly staff. Paid a lot for a 6 person child bungalow. Bungalow was filthy lots of spiders and bugs on the walls, dirty carpets and just generally old feeling. Bathrooms were very old and permanent dirty, in need of a full renovation. Houses also have very thin walls so in bed you can hear the conversation of the neighbours sitting outside of their house. What truly concerned me was what happened at the swimming pool. There were a group of teenage boys terrorizing everyone and being threatening to force everyone out so they would have the to themselves. This meant harassing my small child and elderly mother and another family. The emergency contact button at the was broken (acknowledged by the front desk later on) and the reception was empty at this time. What an incredibly insane unsafe situation I find it shocking that a company can be run like this - what happens if it was something actually serious like an injured or drowned child ! No warning signs no alternative options provided at the (it's not like people swimming have a phone on them). Anyway just a very poorly run park I will not return here. We stayed in one of their child proof homes with a fenced garden. The home is great, every little detail. There is even a child size sink and toilet! The garden is not only fenced, but contains a trampoline, sandbox, slide and other games. The park provides all sorts of activities and is situated right at the center of one of the nature reserves of the Netherlands. In other words, there is something here for everyone.
