We can park our four/two wheeler vehicles here for a nominal parking fee. “Kaneri Math” is located little away from Kolhapur city, at a distance of around 13 KM from Kolhapur Bus stand. The Math is built around a Lord Shiva Temple and is formally known as Siddhagiri Math. It is located on a hillock and the surroundings are very green & peaceful. It is spread over a very large area. The “Kaneri math” is a place of Shri Kadsiddheshwar Maharaj who is a well-known religious personality. The math is very well developed as per Hindu life style and also constructed the wonderful Siddhgiri Museum. The Lord Shiva Temple appeared to be old; however, modern monuments have been raised around it. The main attraction of the “Kaneri Math” is the wonderful Siddhgiri Museum. There is an entry ticket of Rs. 200 per person. Within the campus of “Kaneri Math”, apart from Museum there are restaurants, food stalls and a small supermarket as well as there is an amusement park too. Overall it’s a great place to and spend time with family or friends of all age groups. We can spend a whole day or half day here. We enjoyed a lot during our family to the “Kaneri Math”. Good There is an old Shiva temple, Garden and Museum. They have also developed replica of culture. It's nice to show kids about culture. Good place to to know history of ancient India. Well managed math. Many amusements are available to spend complete your full 1 day here. Make sure you start in the morning so that you will catch all activities. Best place for kids to bring it here. What a fantastic place it is! A must place in Kolhapur. Guy's if you want to go back to your childhood than this is where you should visit. Kindly make sure that you atleast have 6 hrs for this place. The entry fees is around 150rs & the place is located 17km away from the station. Beware of the monkey's Nice 🙏 Excellent garden, sculptures and art work. Will love to again. The place is nice . But everything here is chargeable . They charge for everything and maintenance is there. But can be maintained more . The flower garden is the best place there. Nature lover should there . Green place. Gives information about past life in the village. Kids can enjoy toy train at chargeable cost.Bhoot horror show at chargeable cost. Ticket is 200/-INR Very beautiful place. The made up of statues, so realistic and even minor details are shown. It was beautiful and also takes you away from regular busy life, but keep stamina for walking. Beutiful place. They made inside a systems of Maharashtra ( like farmers, Potter's, saloon, school, Head of village, panchayat, Market etc). Micro detailing of every system is best need to see again and again. All ancient Masters like Rishi muni information and there works are explained in details. This is some awesome place to go during your kolhapur visit. Some work is still in progress. Specially really good for city childs and western style Indians to understand traditions A must place to see the Marathi life in Kolhapur. Good parking space available. Please make sure that you have at least 2 - 4 hours time available to this place to see full village. Some statue looks original. A must place for cultural, educational and fun experiences for kids. Tickets worth Rs 200 per person totally worth it the place is worth seeing. It is decorated with nice statues. The ticket is two hundred rupees.
