Hieno keikka kaikin puolin, vaikka "väärästä suunnasta" tultaessa (ei Ristiinasta) parkkipaikan ja reitin alun kyltti ei näy tielle sitten millään, koska opastekyltti on vain yhteen suuntaan (tässä pieni vinkvink kaupunginsedille), mutta onneksi oli navigaattori kertomassa tarkan pysähdyksen. Itse reitti oli helppokulkuinen ja polku risteili todella hienoissa maisemissa (hienoa suomalaista kangasmetsää ja jylhiä kallioita veden äärell). Matkalla on ylitettävä ylileveä puro, mutta sen yli on aseteltu lankkuja ja puun runkoja, jotka sitten heiluvat kuin hullut puurossa, eli kannattaa käyttää rannalle jätettyjä "retkisauvoja" tasapainon tueksi. Pienellä varovaisuudella pääsee siis hienosti yli ja vedenpitävät jalkineet ovatkin tässä kohtaa erittäin suotavat.
