Played there today. Course in super condition despite all the rain. Greens are brilliant. And great food in the restaurant Phoned this place to book a tee time. After phoning about 5 times a man in the bar answered I asked to book and he said he's on lunch and hung up???. So I booked a Tee time in Woodstock instead and it was a great course. We had a lovely day there. Nice & very friendly - ProShop and Clubhaus Beautiful Lunch at Ennis Golf Clubhouse. The staff are very friendly and prompt with their service. Lovely well maintained course. I gave 4 stars as I think the fairways that cross over and some tee box positions increase the chances of getting hit by a stray shot. I visited Ennis Golf Club, Co. Clare, Ireland with a member of my family and was delighted by the super-friendly members and staff. I'm not the biggest of Golf fans but after my trip last year to Ireland I'm thinking of taking up this wonderful sport and pastime - and it's been wonderful for my heart condition. Played the open singles, had a 4 ball of young members flying up behind us complaining we were to slow with serious attitude and no manners, we completed our round in 3hrs 55 minutes (4 ball with 1 buggy) with a 15 minute delay because my playing partners buggy ran out of fuel in the middle of the round. Won’t be in a rush back. Visited restaurant here, lovely staff on day we were there, Saturday 15th June. Lovely food and lovely views. Wee had a beautiful meal at the cub on Sunday the 21st.
