Walked randomly past it and they had these Irish musicians playing... So I was drawn in. Nice atmosphere,a great traditional Irish music session at the weekend, well worth checking out.. Great location, Friendly staff and wonderful traditional Irish music with Blackie Connors and friends. I found the staff to be as friendly and warm as a newly defrosted fish. The place was dark,shutters drawn. Perfect for those who instinctively hiss whenever that big yellow thing in the sky shows it's face. Despite the lively trad band going depression hung in the air like a thick noxious vapour. Perhaps I walked in on a funeral party. The toilets however were the most pristine public loos I've seen in awhile, and that's across a few continents mind you. I will say one thing, despite the questionable freshness of the limes, this bartender knows how to pour a drink. And sometimes that's all you really need. What a fantastic find it was only by chance it was recommended to me but I'll definitely be back, bar staff are very friendly and the pint is super and a lovely crowd as well this is a hidden gem worth a visit without a doubt. The atmosphere is really good, very lively. The bar staff and owner are really polite and friendly. They do a range to chuterie boards which we didnt try but will defo be back as they looked amazing. Defo worth a visit! Very nice place. This is a pub. Didn't notice any food. But the music was fantastic. Blackie O'Connell was amazing. Beautiful bar with great food and atmosphere - the best cocktails and pints in Ennis! The charcuterie board with a selection of Irish meats and cheeses was just incredible.
