Fantastic place for food or a drink. quality food at a reasonable price. A gem of a pub. Lovely traditional Irish Bar with a genuine welcome and charm. Visit it before our nanny state government closes them all down.. Beautiful open turf burning fires, cosy intimate, and friendly. They have added a Beer Garden and Glamping Site out the back too which is definitely worth checking out. Note to owner - Do advertise your Food Menu in the Bar! and have the Food Menu displayed in / at the Entrance to the pub, preferably in a light box. This will hugely increase your food turnover, if monkey can't see... monkey no buy!! Historic pub. atmosphere, and food. Lovely food, really obliging staff. I wanted to modify dishes and it was no oroblem. The beer garden was lovely too. Lovely quaint thatched pub/restaurant with plenty of parking. food well presented. Friendly staff. portions, you won't leave hungry. From the moment we arrived we had a experience and 10 out of 10 for thinking outside of the box for out door dining. A table in what looks like a beech hut that is heated if you require. The food was brilliant so much so we booked in for the next night, we were on holidays in co.clare for a few days. The only negative I have wS the toilets needed attention because of how busy the place was just not enough to keep these updated. But would recommend to any traveller to the are. We stopped here on the way to Shannon Airport. The food was absolutely delicious, My mum had the Chowder and I had some beef ciabatta and they were both tasty and delicious. were all so professional and lovely relaxing atmosphere aswell!! Might stop again in the future. We called in Fanny O Deas for Sunday lunch. It is a beautiful looking place on the outside and you can see why it attracts tourists. We ordered our Sunday lunch, which looked and tasted very nice but then realised that they missed off our roast potatoes only after noticing other diners had them. The from the girls serving us was and they were very polite. What was disappointing was that the men's toilet was not at all. The toilet seat was covered in unpleasantries, and the ceilings patched up with paper and paint pealing off. I only mentioned this comment as many tourists would be put off by the state of the toilets and would not return. This could easily be rectified by the owners. Best meal (price/value) we have had in a while. Sitting in the pub, atmosphere reminds me of everything about Ireland/ everything that I loved growing up here Lovely atmosphere, food, I am not a fan of Irish food, but this restaurant changed my opinion. The flavor of the food is amazing—one of the best I have ever had in Ireland. Congratulations to the team; the were and attentive. I highly recommend it.” We have been there twice and we will be back! The food is excellent, the prices are good, the atmosphere is great! The and the chef are the best! 🤌💚 This place has become a favorite for us! Highly recommended for accomodation and food. We stayed at the small houses at the back for two nights and had dinner and breakfast in the pub. The food was fresh, tasty and portions. The pub vibe was amazing and the was 10 out of 10. The accommodation was comfortable, it has a hot bath tub and perfect. Travelling from kilrush to limerick, was going to stop in ennis found fanny's. service, food, guinness, spot. Rids were to die for, definitely call again. My partner and I visited this weekend just gone. We ate here 2 nights and on the first night everything was perfect, food was and the were very attentive. On the second night this was not as good, we went inside and asked for menus, we went outside and waited 20 minutes and nobody came to take our orders, we walked inside and were greeted by a girl who harshly took our order. We got our food and were greeted by an amazing man named Jesse, he was fantastic, very attentive and constantly asking if we needed anything, we asked for things to do while we we were in the area and he named multiple places he recommended. His recommendation on desserts was top notch with recommending the sticky toffee pudding and the profiteroles. Jesse made us feel welcome and respected and left us with nothing but a smile on our faces. Jesse gets a 5/5 for everything but for the reasons mentioned above the overall gets a 3/5.
