Fantastic little bar in the old and trendy part of Plovdiv, close to restaurants and the main corso. Energetic and creative bar tender and a great range of simple and exotic cocktails. Clever and simple decor and a great place to spend time drinking and watching the passing pedestrians. We had a party of five and they made an effort to find us a table and seats for all of us. It just feels like home. 💞 Favorite place for a cosy romantic night out. Delicious cocktails, slow music and great chat. Done deal! :) Weird staff. The moment we got in, the old lady barwoman looked at us in a weird way like "why those strangers are here". She asked us "what do you want" but it sounded like "what did you come here you strangers." Her attitude was rude. The bar inside is very tinny and there is no place to sit in the narrow corridor. The music was indifferent and with no taste. The place has no identity. The coctails were all VERY EXPENSIVE (7.16 euro each). I got gin & tonic, which was the only cheap one 5.50 euro, but I didn't taste any gin at all. So I paid 5.50 for tonic water. I don't recommend it. Indiferrent place with bad music and rude staff. A cosy place offering high quality beverages. People with attitude towards clients. Really surprised with this small jewel in Kapana. Some of the very best you can taste with personal touch and then drink them in a lovely and cosy atmosphere <3 one of the best cocktail bars in town, I highly recommend the basil smash! The bar-lady is obviously quite experienced at her craft and it was evident that she took great care in preparing our cocktails. Aside from this, she was kind and the atmosphere at Barber & Cat is uniquely calming, to an extent that is able to bring about nostalgia about older times that one hasn't experienced (the excellent lounge music had something to do with it). At the end of a date-night, this place would probably secure a second date, haha. We stumbled upon this bar and thankfulky there was some space for us. We were so pleased with our coctails. I got the Bloody Mary and my friend asked the bartender for something sweet. The lady at the bar whipped up her own recipe and it was so good. Thank you for the pleasant experience, will visit again when we're in Plovdiv😊 Great little gem! The are incredible and made with so much attention to detail, it's unbelievable. Really just a stone throw away from some of the really busy bars and worth the visit! Just two meters away from bustling tourist spots, this hidden gem offers the best in town and a wonderfully cozy atmosphere. The owners and employees are very kind and polite , their lemonade and are amazing 🍹🍸The cat is a cute bonus 🐱 Brilliant place with a welcoming atmosphere, the main bartender clearly loves what he is doing. Even if you have a vague idea of what you want he tries his best to find the right drink for you.
