The pool in Genk was a major disappointment. School children essentially took over the entire pool, making any attempt at serious lap difficult. While the facility claims to offer public hours, the reality is that it's virtually impossible to get any meaningful exercise during these periods. The entrance fee is quite steep considering the poor conditions. The only nice things are the locker system and the showers. I strongly advise against visiting this pool unless you're specifically looking for a chaotic and frustrating experience. Ok Fun for little kids especially. Not enough seats for viewers and the existing not very comfortable! Big parking area! Cleanest pool ever ! We swam in loads of other pools in at least 6 other countries recently; Genk is by far the cleanest one; amazing ! Great fun; slide, boards, toys in the water, jacuzzi,... And most friendly staff! We ❤ SportinGenk ! You can tell how much money has been pumped into the facilities, since the public pool's leak stopped pumping everything out. Nice area.
