The was quite nice. Good food and service. Reception ok. The chalet we had was a bit dirty and not in perfect condition for the prize we paid. The bathroom was moldy, the windows didn't work properly and floor and furniture were poorly cleaned. And as sugar on top, the electric lock worked only in every third try. We booked a 2 rooms mobile house here, during weekend (7-10 August). We decided to leave it earlier because of the poor conditions. I gave them 2 stars for the lake and playgrounds for kids but overall it was a miserable experience. The rooms did not appear to have been cleaned. On a mattress were leftover food and the table, the couch and the kitchen were full of dust. The mattresses on the beds are extremely old (decades) and have probably not been cleaned for several years. The bed linen received from the reception was very old and with holes from place to place. At the entrance to the house you are struck by an old and terrible smell and the insects roamed freely through the rooms. The entire campsite was extremely crowded despite the restrictions imposed due to the virus. The owners rented every inch of grass, the tents were almost glued together. In the indoor pool, were less than half a meter from each other. At the lake, in the area destined for the beach, an individual found it suitable to fish even though there were enough children in the water. On the first night, at midnight I still could not sleep because of the noisy neighbors but also because the houses are very close to each other and the sound insulation does not exist. On the second night at the on campus there was a concert (cheap, commercial and poorly sung music) that lasted until after midnight, and the noise covered the entire campus. Although it was 30 degrees C outside, we had to close the windows to sleep. All this in the conditions in which most of the tourists were there with little kids. It was the most unpleasant vacation ever. The score that this property has is deserved, even indulgent. And negative reviews are as accurate as possible. I booked though because I still hoped it might not be so bad. The price (408 Euro for 3 nights) is completely unjustified. Beautiful location, but dirty, badly maintenanced trailer. Drunk, noisy neighbours still at it well after 00.00 o clock . Positive thing was that it was cheap. Pity! This place could really be something! You get what you pay for. It's a very good price vacation but do not expect grand luxe. The caravans are good not super new not falling apart. Matrasses are ok. Infrastructure has some wear and tear but in my opinion more due to unrespectfull guests than due to the park. Animation team tries to be very inclusive You will be forced to use disgusting duvets that are not washed after other people. Only pillowcases and bed laning are washed. If you say you don't want to use that disgusting duvets, they make you pay anyway. Lady in reception asked me for note from my family doctor that I can't sleep under their bed leaning 🤔. Ridiculous. Besides The place is not so nice as on the pictures. Bungalows are extremely old , stinky and dirty. Pubs and bars dirty as well. When you book the open reservation via Vacancyveilingen.nl they hiding possibilities to book on the weekend, but on the website the dates are open. No place for from Vacancyvelingen.nl but there is place for from direct website of oostappen? That's really bad marketing ! The park (including the houses) is old and could be renewed. The house could have a vacuum cleaner, but the food at the was very good, personal was friendly and my kids enjoyed every second. We liked the fact that there are many playgrounds spread around the park, every 30 m there was a playground for the kids. We leave the park happy =) Possible to service a motorhome here dump waste and refill the water tank 1. Wi-Fi. They charge for a service without providing it, na stabil connection or no signal at all, 1 week of complains and no efective reaction. 2. Muddy mess on the walking paths, 1 week of complains and zero efective reaction. 3. No access by car to the bungalow (only for chosen ones). 4. They devide for first and second category (2nd pays more and hasn't the access to most of the premises, it's kept in kind of getto). 5. Maintanace means somebody will answer your call but nobody will be able to do anything. UNPROFESIONAL, UNRESPECTFUL AND OVERPAID PLACE IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWHERE. Pros: - Some tent parcels with a three - Unlimited hot and cold water - Washing machine (paid separately) - Free inhouse pool - Electricity onsite Cons: - Dirty toilets - Swimming in the lake forbidden - Small tent parcels but some with a three - No kitchen - No place for dining Unclean, was only there for 3 days but in those 3 days the soapdispensers were empty and no refills, no handtowels or airdryers. Food in the was awfull. Can't really call it food.. just slop heated and thrown on a plate. Perhaps not a complaint for the camping but other guests. Drunken screaming at each other well past 02:00 am everynight. The restaurant/parkcentre playing horrible music really loud untill 00:00. Charging 50 bucks a night to put your tent here is ridiculous! Never camping here ever again. Damn, this was the worst camping experience ever. They have silent hours between 22.00/07.00, but these were the moments where the guests collectively decided to make the most noise. The facilities are old and musky with sewage flies included. Don't even get me started about the restaurant. Everything was deep fried and expensive for what you get, accompanied by the worst Dutch music in existence. The reception staff was nice though.
