Still beautiful though. We dropped by unannounced as we were traveling through the region with a group of 14 people. There was a possibility to have a tour. The guide knew a lot and could provide us with detailed information on the timeperiod, the styles and the history of the chateau. Especially the story about the survival of the chateau during the French revolution was interesting and surprising. Beautifully kept and the gardens are an astonishing view as well! Surely something to visit if you are in the neighbourhood! A stunning Chateau with a long history that is still owned by the original family and we even met one of the Daughters at the end of our tour.
