Great environment, Angola tipical food, affordable prices and good ambient sound. Very friendly and accommodating staff and a decent but not stylish room for a weary pilgrim! Too far from any good service (bar/restaurant). Rooms are totally fine, service was often not available. But if you're hiking, expect issues when arranging a proper meal. Very different from the pictures, dark room, noisy neighbourghood and not that green garden as visible on the pics. I didn't feel comfortable here. The breakfast is very basic. The room is ok if you are fine with dark places. I was on a pilgrimage to Santiago from Lisbon. Orbis ways agency booked me a night in this place. it was horrible. The place is right next to the highway and we couldn't sleep because of the noisy trucks driving by all night long. It is totaly unsuitable place for pilgrims accommodation, and the worst was that it was 4,8 km before the nice city Mealhade so the next day our walking route was over 30 km and we had to walk through Mealhade without stopping. I don’t see any logical reason why any pilgrim should stay there. This hotel is located in the perfect area. Minutes away from restaurants, train station, highways and attractions.
