Came here for dinner and it was delicious. Ordered the fried squid appetizer and the following mains: burger & fries, steak with mushroom & veggies & fries, and the seafood platter (for 2 people). All were great but highly recommend the seafood platter. The only improvement is that service is very slow. The whole dinner took 2 hours. Didnt have a great experience. Appetizers were but the main course, shared plate of octopus, squid and prawns for 30 euro was very underwhelming. The octopus was tough and the rest was dry and seemed room temperature. The goat cheese was app and ausage and mushroow Appetizer were great, though. The head waiter/ owner(?) seemed to go to every table but ours and not sure why he avoided us? Didnt slight the review but it could have helped. Either way, seemed like the reviews were pushed as there is a sign asking for reviews as soon as you walk in. My wife and I were here for dinner. She ordered a pulpo which she really enjoyed. I had the shrimp tacos and the veal croquetas. The tacos reminded us a bit to the flavor in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. However we were a bit disappointed as the flour tortillas were not warm. Anyway, the overall quality of the food was good. And the coffee (americano), was also one of the best I’ve tried so far in Coimbra. The location was close to our hotel, and the restaurant itself was nice, specially when sitting next to the windows. tried their squid ink risotto, cod and veal croquette and sirloin steak. everything was and flavourful. service was also great. Went late at night and received excellent service and had very food. However I did get charged for the appetizers they forcibly put on the table. So I ate a couple of more cheese slices just to somehow recover my loss a little. I was planing to go today to another restaurant but this one was on my way there. We changed plans and it was best decision. Food,wine and service was amazing. I literally enjoyed everything. We ordered more then we could eat...that was only bad part of the night. I am highly recommend this restaurant. The appetizers are to share and they are spot on! Took the sir loin on the grill and it was so soft and tastefull! The waiters were very professional. Best food I had in Coimbra.
