Good place to stop for picnics etc although no bins either Windsor Great Park A Lovely park Ideal place for people who love to walk We see plenty of deer From the free carpark in the middle to the horse and back is a 5km walk. The are unreal. One of my favourite walks ever. A great statue of King George III and his horse. It's a lovely (long) from Windsor Castle. Great from there, too. 4km long walkway between the Windsor Palace and Gourge III Statue. If you like to watch the flying aircraft with the Windsor Castle at the background or you want to spots same deers, walking on the long or in the forest. Brilliant that offers stunning of the Castle and Heathrow Airport and a big Statue. Could do with a toilet as there isn't one so beware if you're desperate. Toilets are located in the town Centre of Windsor! A peaceful trail on the royal property. Lots of trees, nice breeze and spotted prince William driving by too. But honestly the view point is peaceful. The long from Windsor Castle to King & George lll & his horse statue is 2.6 miles straight, mostly flat with a slight incline for the last 100 yards or so, plenty of rocks to sit on for a rest on arrival at the statue, a nice on a good day with deer's roaming & of Heathrow airport flight path.
