The Lake has ducks, swans and geese and wonderful walks to see wildlife. There's a wonderful iron bridge to walk over the train lines to the fields with horses and alpaca's to see. My have always loved it here. Really lovely and nature reserve, had a blast. The large sandpit and slides kept them entertained for ages, and the surrounding area and cafe are all lovely. The has always been well tended with play areas and activities for all ages - play with equipment for those with different abilities, skate park, exercise equipment, sports pitches, a lovely cafe, an excellent football club and a pond to walk around and feed the ducks. Really fun and friendly swans, the is lovely too. Overall a great day out especially for children, big for children probably up to 14 will enjoy and lots for them to do there. The only thing that could improve it would be a few more bins and some map signs to help with navigation, but overall it's a fantastic that's well worth a visit. very beautiful scenic, has very tranquil setting, there is nearby fields with parks, plenty of space for all different types of sports, excellent place for picnics or somewhere you want to go for a nice walk.
